Did you know mainstream surf wax can damage coral reef systems? 🪸 This is due to the harsh chemical ingredients (bleach, adhesives, petroleum) changing the PH balance of the sea water, causing ocean acidification.

In turn, this creates conditions that eat away at the minerals used by oysters, snails, lobsters, shrimp, coral reefs and other marine life to build their shells and skeletons.

Why is that of concern to us? Losing our reef systems will heighten global warming by hindering the oceans' ability to absorb CO2, generating heat on Earth 🌍
