Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there, the biological dads, stepdads, foster dads, grandads, dads-to-be, father figures, bereaved dads, dads doing it alone, those longing to be dads, those missing their children and those missing their own dads today 🤍

Watching Taz be a dad is the light of everything for me. He’s the fun one, the caring one, the safe place and the person our kids know they can always turn to.

We are so incredibly lucky to have you. Happy Father’s Day, Taz, we love you more than you’ll ever know ✨

Father’s Day with Country Road

When we think about what our kids will remember about their childhood, it’s the time spent together that comes to mind. The playground trips, kicking the footy, bike rides, family days out and all the little moments in between.

So this Father’s Day we’re celebrating Taz doing what he does best, being Dad; in some beautiful new Country Road pieces along the way.

Another piece of the Hazelwood puzzle coming together 🤎

If you watched our journey on The Block, you’ll know Troy was the man behind the landscaping at our Block house, so when it came to starting the plans for our own dream property, we honestly couldn’t imagine having anyone else help us bring it to life.

So naturally… we flew him over from Melbourne 😂✈️

With 5.5 acres and a wish list that seems to grow every time we walk the property, there’s a LOT to work through. Today was all about walking the grounds, throwing around ideas and starting to work out how the gardens, house, pool, stables and everything in between will eventually connect.

It might seem a little backwards planning the outside when we haven’t even started renovating the inside yet… but there’s actually a method to the madness 👀

So bloody excited to have Troy along for another crazy ride with us , this time at Hazelwood ✨

We’ll share more of the plans (and why we’re starting them so early) very soon.

Good bones, better vision 🤎

Hazelwood Estate has never been about changing everything just for the sake of it. The house already has incredible bones, beautiful proportions and a layout that works for our family. Our job is to bring it back to life and make it feel like us.

For Part 2 of our Hazelwood vision, we’re sharing more of what’s shaping the design. Warm European influences, natural stone, timber, texture and all those little details that we hope will make it feel like it’s always belonged here.

There are approximately 472 decisions happening behind the scenes right now 😂 but slowly, the vision we’ve had in our heads is starting to come together.
