Whaaaaaat???! POCKETS!!! All the classic midi dresses will now include pockets 👏👏👏 this is a size 1 dress that fits 8 to 12. Exceptionally good quality. Made to last. You will get so much wear out of these dresses that financially when broken down into cost of “wash and wear” it will be the most economical item you own! Pure linen, sustainable. Linen requires much less resources to grow and harvest than most other fibres. It breaks down faster than most other textiles. And vintage tea towels…..well, repurposing the old! If you want a dress to feel fabulous in at the same time as “doing your bit” for the planet then this is the quintessential combo….with pockets!!! “Where are my car keys?” Question of the past now with pockets!! Helllllloooooooooo friends! I’m so sorry for the absence. Been working hard in the background getting my head around where I want these dresses to go, you see, when I started out I could never have predicted this becoming something, but here we are, a dress company! I have been mulling over lots and there is a shake up happening. FIRST- NEW SIZING! Beef week was an amazing experience and eye opener, quite often I don’t get to see people trying these on. Anyway, sizing has been tweaked there will now be 3 sizes to cater to the inbetweeners. So SIZE 1- fits 8 to 12. SIZE 2- fits 14 to 18. Size 3- fits 20 to 24. The dresses are a loose kaftan fit but I saw a need for an inbetween. The classic midi earthy tone Australiana tea towel dress will now have POCKETS!! AND here in these photos are some short sleeve POP OF COLOUR FOR SUMMER dresses. All 4 AVAILABLE $249 each. Size 1 and 2.

This dress! This tea towel has a story. I love that the story intertwines with the very foundations of how and why these dresses came about too. First, this tea towel is brand new printed original art of .osborn.art Karen has an exhibition at art gallery in Amsterdam this weekend 11 to 13 august and had this dress made especially for it. What an honour for me to make this for Karen. What an honour. You see, I am a photographer with a diploma in visual arts. I see the world in frames. The humble ol’ tea towel with art came about so art could come home with and reach more people. When designing and manifesting these dresses I wanted to honour the original artist and frame their work, hence the complete tea towel framed with block colours, so to have an artist come to me and ask this of me is a very, very great honour. People often ask how I thought of this idea and I would have to say it’s because of my life story. As a photographer, as an artist, my upbringing and how I see this world. So, for anyone in the Netherlands over this coming weekend, pop on down to Karen’s exhibition 🧡🧡🧡🧡

Closed. Winner is Bronwyn! A HUGE thank you to everyone who responded. WIN!! Hellooooooo! The creative burnt out after beef is real!! I’m so sorry I had to take a couple of weeks to recalibrate. So here is the exciting news- a pay it forward! On the last day of BEEF a very kind man bought this dress for someone out there to have that maybe couldn’t otherwise afford it or missed out on the beef week stall. Aaaah linen. Linen, linen, linen. Is there a better fabric?? I’ve had so many conversations about these dresses over the last few days. I have so much to say about so many aspects. And the evolution. I will. But for now….linen!!! Puuuuuure linen.
