We inherited zardosi work from our ancestors. Zardosi work is being adorned since the Mughal era. But there is a shortage of artisans in this sector. Local artisans are leaving this craft because of the increasing charges of materials and labor. Works have become more expensive and not everyone is willing to pay for exclusive goods. We are trying to save our heritage from becoming extinct. We are promoting local craftsmanship through our design ✨

I grew up waiting for fashion articles which used to be published in ‘Naksha’ of Prothom Alo once in a week. I really enjoyed reading this particular section. But I never thought one day everyone will see my design in ‘Naksha’. I never thought of doing anything like that. This actually came up to me as a beautiful surprise! Thank you Prothom Alo for reaching out and choosing my design to publish.

All praises to the Almighty Allah, who always gave me everything I actually never thought of having. Alhamdulillah for all the love and support you lovely souls gave me throughout these long 9 years ❤️
