Apparently, today is International Cat Day! 🐱🤍
But I believe cats deserve more than just one special day—every day should be for them.
Loving them shouldn’t be limited to posting pictures or celebrating them on one particular day. The care, affection, kindness, and love we have for them should be there every single day. Because they are not just animals—they have feelings too. They feel hurt, they get scared, they hold grudges, they love… and the most beautiful thing is that they make us their own without expecting anything in return. 🥺
I had a cat too—Jimmy. ❤️
Jimmy wasn’t just my pet; he was someone very close to my heart. I still remember all those little moments we shared.
Over the years, I’ve also made friends with many other cats, and some of those friendships still exist. I may not see all of them every day, and some were never technically mine, but feeding them, gently petting their heads, giving them a little affection… there is so much love hidden in these little gestures. And only those who truly love cats can understand that feeling. 🐾
I believe love never needs a special day.
Not just because today is Cat Day, but every day, if we simply pay a little attention to the animals around us—give them food when they’re hungry, help them when they’re sick, and give them a safe place when they’re scared—perhaps we can make their little world a bit kinder and more beautiful. 🤍
Not just one day—let every day be for them.
Their lives may be short, but the love they give us is anything but small. 🐱🌸

আজ নাকি আন্তর্জাতিক বিড়াল দিবস! 🐱🤍
কিন্তু আমার কাছে মনে হয়, বিড়ালদের জন্য কোনো একটি বিশেষ দিন নয়—প্রতিটা দিনই ওদের জন্য হওয়া উচিত।
শুধু আজকের দিনে ছবি তুলে ভালোবাসা নয়, ওদের প্রতি যত্ন, মায়া আর ভালোবাসাটা থাকুক প্রতিদিন। কারণ ওরা শুধু একটা প্রাণী নয়—ওরাও অনুভব করে, অভিমান করে, ভয় পায়, ভালোবাসে… আর সবচেয়ে সুন্দর ব্যাপার হলো, বিনিময়ে কিছু না চেয়েও আমাদের আপন করে নেয়। 🥺
আমারও একটা বিড়াল ছিল—জিমি। ❤️
জিমি শুধু আমার পোষা প্রাণী ছিল না, ও ছিল আমার খুব আপন একজন। ওর সঙ্গে কাটানো ছোট ছোট মুহূর্তগুলো আজও মনে পড়ে।
এছাড়াও জীবনে অনেক বিড়ালের সঙ্গে আমার বন্ধুত্ব হয়েছে, এখনও আছে। কারও সঙ্গে হয়তো প্রতিদিন দেখা হয় না, কারও সঙ্গে হয়তো কোনোদিনই ঘরের সম্পর্ক ছিল না—তবুও ওদের জন্য একটু খাবার রাখা, মাথায় একটু হাত বুলিয়ে দেওয়া, একটু আদর করা… এই ছোট ছোট ব্যাপারগুলোতেই যে কতটা মায়া লুকিয়ে থাকে, সেটা যারা বিড়াল ভালোবাসে তারাই বুঝবে। 🐾
আমি বিশ্বাস করি, ভালোবাসার জন্য কোনো বিশেষ দিনের প্রয়োজন হয় না।
আজ Cat Day বলে নয়, প্রতিদিনই যদি আমরা আমাদের আশেপাশের প্রাণীগুলোর দিকে একটু খেয়াল রাখি, ক্ষুধার্ত হলে একটু খাবার দিই, অসুস্থ হলে সাহায্য করি, ভয় পেলে একটু নিরাপদ জায়গা দিই—তাহলেই হয়তো তাদের পৃথিবীটা একটু সুন্দর হবে। 🤍
একটা দিন নয়, প্রতিটা দিনই হোক ওদের জন্য।
কারণ ওদের জীবন ছোট হতে পারে, কিন্তু ওদের দেওয়া ভালোবাসাটা একদমই ছোট নয়। 🐱🌸
