Same weavers families passed down their techniques generation to generation . The village is currently well known as `` Nisbetganj ' . During The Time of British East India Company Robert Parry Nisbet was Collector as well as Magistrate of Rangpur from 1820 to1826 was surprised and attracted the art of Weaving . He directed and facilitated the weavers which make him alive on the mind of villagers . Robert Parry Nisbet died in 1882 but he was in the heart of Villagers as `` Nisbetganj '' The raw Materials of this type of weaving are Chenille yarn , Cotton yarn as well as jute yarn .
