August is the month of Ectopic Pregnancy Awareness ....

একটি গর্ভধারণ জরায়ুর বাইরে হলে তা Ectopic Pregnancy। এটি একটি চিকিৎসা জরুরি অবস্থা। প্রাথমিক পর্যায়ে শনাক্তকরণ ও দ্রুত চিকিৎসাই মায়ের জীবন রক্ষা করতে পারে।

গর্ভধারণের পরীক্ষা (Pregnancy Test) পজিটিভ হলে যত দ্রুত সম্ভব একজন স্ত্রীরোগ বিশেষজ্ঞের পরামর্শ নিন। চিকিৎসকের পরামর্শ অনুযায়ী উপযুক্ত সময়ে TVS (Transvaginal Ultrasound) এবং প্রয়োজনে β-hCG পরীক্ষা করে নিশ্চিত করুন যে গর্ভটি জরায়ুর ভেতরে রয়েছে।

Ectopic pregnancy occurs when a pregnancy implants outside the uterus. It is a medical emergency. Early diagnosis and timely treatment save lives.

If your pregnancy test is positive, consult your obstetrician/gynecologist early. At the appropriate time, your doctor may recommend a transvaginal ultrasound (TVS) and, if needed, β-hCG testing to confirm that the pregnancy is inside the uterus.
Early confirmation can save lives.
