“Not every monster was born a monster.”

Growing up, we all knew her—the green-skinned Sakchunni from the stories of our childhood. She was scary, mysterious, and somehow unforgettable.

Inspired by the iconic green Sakchunni from our childhood stories, I reimagined her through a contemporary feminine lens.

This T-shirt is my way of turning a childhood fear into a symbol of feminine power, attitude and unapologetic identity.

This piece is my little tribute to Thakurmar Jhuli, childhood memories, Bengali folklore, and the unapologetic energy of today’s Gen-Z girls. 🖤💚
