We are proud to share that Ms. Fahima Akhter, Director of Masco Group and Director of BGMEA, participated in a high-level meeting between the BGMEA Board of Directors and national policymakers, including Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, Mr. Khandakar Abdul Muqtadir, Minister of Commerce, Industry, Textiles and Jute, Dr. Mahdi Amin, Advisor to the Prime Minister, and Advisor Titumir.

The meeting focused on key priorities for strengthening Bangladesh’s RMG sector, including NBR-related reforms, customs and bond management, banking support, port efficiency, and the expansion of the Dhaka–Chattogram highway to accelerate export activities.

The constructive discussions reflected a shared commitment to enhancing trade competitiveness, improving the ease of doing business, and supporting the sustainable growth of Bangladesh’s largest export industry.
