Rukhsana Esrar founded ‘Rukhsana Esrar Runi’ in 1995. With humble beginnings comprising of only one sewing machine and a handful of clients, the business morphed into a full-fledged

fashion house appointing over one hundred employees and a clientele base spread across the globe in the past 20 years. Rukhsana graduated with an Honours and Masters on Political Science from Dhaka University, later doing a Diploma on Fashion at the College of Fashion Technology and Merchandising, Dhaka. Furthermore, she completed a series of advanced courses in National Institute of Design, Dhaka, where she undertook the role of Principal in the forthcoming years. Throughout her career, she dressed several local celebrities and designed costumes for advertisements and short films. Her designs were showcased in numerous fashion shows and television channels, and appeared frequently in newspapers and magazines. Rukhsana reopened her fashion studio in 2009 with a chic makeover and tasteful branding. Around the same time, she started focusing on her Bridal collection and started her label, ‘Rukhsana Esrar Runi Bridal’.
