এই মুহূর্তে বাংলাদেশ এক সংকটময় পরিস্থিতির মধ্য দিয়ে যাচ্ছে। ফেনী, নোয়াখালী, লক্ষ্মীপুর এবং কুমিল্লা অঞ্চলে বন্যা তার ভয়ঙ্কর রূপ ধারণ করেছে। একই সঙ্গে, দেশের উত্তরাঞ্চলেও বন্যার সম্ভাবনা দেখা দিয়েছে। ধারণা করা হচ্ছে গত কয়েক দশকের মধ্যে সবচেয়ে ভয়াভয় বন্যার মুখোমুখি হতে যাচ্ছে দেশের বেশ কিছু অঞ্চল। এছড়া এই অঞ্চলে আশ্রয় কেন্দ্রের অভাব ও পূর্ব প্রস্তুতি না থাকায় জনজীবন হুমকীর মুখে; প্রচুর ঘর-বাড়ি, গবাদি পশু ও ফসলের ক্ষতি হয়ে গেছে। ফলে মানুষজন নিরাপদ আশ্রয়, পর্যাপ্ত খাবার, নিরাপদ পানি এবং প্রয়োজনীয় মেডিসিনের জন্য হিমশিম খাচ্ছে।
এই প্রেক্ষাপটে, ইফসা ( ইয়ুথ ফর স্যোসাল এইড) বরাবরের ন্যায় বন্যার্থদের পাশে দাঁড়ানোর উদ্যোগ নিয়েছে। সেই সাথে আপনাদেরও আমাদের এই আয়োজনে অংশগ্রহণ করে বন্যার্থ মানুষের পাশে দাঁড়ানোর আহ্বান জানাচ্ছি।
উল্লেখ্য ইফসা একটি সামাজিক সংগঠন যা ২০১৫ সালে প্রতিষ্ঠা লাভ । প্রতিষ্ঠালগ্ন থেকে সংগঠনটি বিভিন্ন সমাজসেবামূলক কাজ করে যাচ্ছে যার মধ্যে উল্লেখযোগ্য দরিদ্র ও দুঃস্থ শিক্ষার্থীদের মাঝে শিক্ষাসামগ্রী বিতরণ ও শিক্ষাদান, দরিদ্র মেধাবী শিক্ষার্থীদের বৃত্তি প্রদান, শীতবস্ত্র বিতরণ, বন্যার্থদের সহায়তা, ইফতার ও ঈদ সামগ্রী বিতরণসহ সমাজ সচেতনতা বৃদ্ধির কাজ করে থাকে।

The floods have devastated these areas, and the lack of shelters and preparedness has put countless lives at risk. Homes, livestock, and crops have been destroyed, leaving people struggling for safe shelter, adequate food, clean water, and essential medicines.
In this time of crisis, Youth for Social Aid (YFSA) has once again stepped up to support those affected by the floods. As we mobilize to provide relief, we urge you to join us in standing by the flood victims.
About YFSA:
Youth for Social Aid (YFSA) is a social organization founded in 2015. Since its inception, YFSA has been dedicated to various community service initiatives, including distributing educational materials to underprivileged students, providing scholarships to deserving students, distributing winter clothing, assisting flood victims, and distributing Iftar and Eid essentials. YFSA also works to raise social awareness on important issues.
