Take your mind back to 2002. Picture the scene.We are working away at their labour of love – their small jeans factory in the lively Dhaka town in the heart of Bangladesh. Craftsmen in heart and soul, with a creative spark, designing and producing their range of denim models. Then along come a couple of Dutch guys from WearHouse looking around for a good quality jeans supplier. They get together with our aspiring, hard-working couple in Bangladesh and they quickly start to develop a relationship – a synergy of Bangladesh Garment business and Bangladeshi style. Within no time, this fruitful partnership comes up with a couple of great denims. The hard work is done as two perfect models roll off the production line. But, hey, what about a brand name? Something simple yet catchy. It’s right under their noses - Isabel’s surname. The WearHouse brand is born.
