This is the rarest and most unique fabric we have used till date.
Vicuña, often called the “fiber of the Gods,” comes from wild Vicuñas found exclusively in the Andes mountains. For centuries, it was reserved for the Inca emperors and royal families, the only few permitted to wear this exquisite fabric.
While certainly an indulgence and one of the most luxurious fibres in history, Vicuña isn’t our go-to recommendation for most people, even for those with means. But we wanted to share the story of this exquisite historical fabric with you today.
Pictured is a bespoke suit (only the jacket here) made from Super 210’s wool blended with 8% Vicuña. The super fine merino wool is combined with just enough Vicuña to create a cloth that is delicate and buttery soft, while retaining the durability and longevity expected from fine wool.
