Strengthening Partnerships for a Sustainable & Responsible Garment Industry

4A Yarn Dyeing Ltd., a LEED Platinum-rated green factory of TEAM Group, welcomed a high-level delegation from the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Bangladesh, Solidaridad Network Asia, and Fair Wear Foundation today.

The delegation included Mrs. Janna van der Linden, Deputy Ambassador and Head of Trade & Development Cooperation, alongside representatives from the Embassy, Solidaridad Network Asia and Fair Wear Foundation.

The delegation was welcomed by Mr. Abdullah Hil Nakib, DMD, TEAM Group, together with the leadership team of 4A Yarn Dyeing and TEAM Group Sustainability.

During the visit, the delegation explored 4A’s approach to responsible business, sustainable manufacturing, digital transformation, environmental performance, decarbonisation efforts, implementing circular economy, and preparedness for evolving EU regulatory requirements.

The visit reflects the growing importance of collaboration among industry, development partners and stakeholders in advancing responsible, competitive and sustainable garment manufacturing in Bangladesh.

At TEAM Group, we believe from the core of our hearts that standing beside others in difficult times is our responsibility not only as a caring neighbour, but more importantly, as human beings.

TEAM Group came together to provide clothing, medicines and other essential items for the flood- and disaster-affected people of Nepal. It is a small gesture from the people of Bangladesh to support their basic needs during this difficult time.

In the face of such a great crisis, we know our contribution is not enough. But we hope this small step inspires more individuals and organizations to come forward and stand beside the people of Nepal.

ঐতিহ্যের সঙ্গে তারুণ্যের ছুটে চলা।

TEAM Group-এর অন্যতম অঙ্গপ্রতিষ্ঠান Twelve Clothing -এর টাইটেল স্পন্সরশিপে এবং NSU Runners-এর আয়োজনে রাজধানীর হাতিরঝিলে অনুষ্ঠিত হলো নকশী কাঁথা ম্যারাথন ২০২৬।

ভোর ৫টা থেকে শুরু হওয়া এই আয়োজনে ২, ৭.৫ ও ১৫ কিলোমিটার ক্যাটাগরিতে প্রায় ১,৫০০ রানার অংশ নেন। তবে এই আয়োজন শুধু একটি দৌড় ছিল না—এর সঙ্গে জড়িয়ে ছিল বাংলাদেশের নকশী কাঁথার ঐতিহ্যকে নতুন প্রজন্মের কাছে তুলে ধরা এবং এর পেছনের নকশীশিল্পীদের শ্রম ও সৃজনশীলতার প্রতি সম্মান জানানোর একটি সুন্দর উদ্যোগ।

বাংলাদেশের ঐতিহ্য ও সংস্কৃতি বরাবরই TWELVE-এর ফ্যাশন ভাবনার একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অংশ। নকশী কাঁথার নিজস্ব প্যাটার্ন ও শিল্পরূপ নিয়েও TWELVE তার ফ্যাশনে কাজ করেছে। তাই ঐতিহ্য, তারুণ্য ও সুস্থ জীবনধারাকে একই প্ল্যাটফর্মে নিয়ে আসা এই আয়োজনের সঙ্গে যুক্ত হওয়া আমাদের জন্য ছিল বিশেষভাবে অর্থবহ।

হাতিরঝিল এম্ফিথিয়েটারে সমাপনী আয়োজনে নকশী কাঁথাকে উপজীব্য করে NSU Runners-এর বিশেষ ফ্ল্যাশমব পুরো আয়োজনকে আরও প্রাণবন্ত করে তোলে। একই সঙ্গে উন্মোচন করা হয় শিল্পী মিশু সাব্বিরের আঁকা লিওনেল মেসির বিশালাকৃতির মুরাল, যা Guinness World Records-এর স্বীকৃতির অপেক্ষায় রয়েছে।

TEAM Group বিশ্বাস করে—একটি আধুনিক বাংলাদেশ তার তারুণ্যকে সঙ্গে নিয়ে সামনে এগিয়ে যাবে, কিন্তু সঙ্গে বহন করবে নিজের শিকড়, সংস্কৃতি ও ঐতিহ্য।

The TEAM logo itself carries the vision of our Founder and Managing Director, Abdullah Hil Rakib

At the heart of the logo is the “A”, built from several pieces coming together as one. It represents different people, strengths, emotions and ideas connecting to build one TEAM. Its upward shape reflects growth, ambition and the courage to move forward.

It was not just a logo he imagined. It was the way he saw TEAM people growing together with one common vision.
