Today June 1st is my two year anniversary of my second store opening in Essex Market. What a turbulent time for me in 2024, as i was looking for a store space with no hope in sight, after my first store closed with the Market Line shutting down.

The journey has been slow and steady which is intensional. for the first few months of this store i only sold solo slings. After a successful release of the Duo sling i realized people want more styles from me. I just wasn’t in the right mind set, i had doubts on how i could scale a product line with multiple styles. That was my restrictive corporate mindset that fueled this fear… then i realized people hey i can do what the F**K i want. So i just started making styles that i liked and that i wanted to do.

My love for designing elevated handbags and purses came later, inspired by my loyal and loving community of women customers requesting intricate styles. Now i love coming up with designs that look and feel like they could come from a luxury house.

The gratitude i have for this small 250sq ft (yes thats 125 sq of workshop and 125 sq ft of retail) space in the lower east side is immeasurable. It is my second home, i look forward to going in as much if not more than going home. My whole career in design i dreamt of having my own line and designing my own products that would not only improve peoples live but make them feel elegant and proud to have one of my pieces.

This is my coconut stand by the beach… i feel like i am a retired from my career in fashion and just doing what makes me happy. Thank you all so much for the insane amount of support from the first solo I’ve sold in 2021 to custom bags i make today.
