The journey of Usha Silk began in 1989 as meaning to the heritage of Rajshahi Silk and beauty of handcrafted sarees, spanning the length and breadth of Bangladesh! He has studied at Rajshahi Cadet College and pursued his Engineering Degree from Mymensingh Agricultural University Bangladesh later Founder and owner of the USHA SILK Industry. Choudhury was not like his other four/five friends so he didn’t want to follow in the footsteps of his other fellow University friends. He came up with the idea to found a Silk Factory to produce some better silk goods. Choudhury introduced Usha Silk Industries. He was eagerly interested to build a silk printing industry in his own house by his capital seeing the availability of resources. In 1994, his founded mill was started to produce main products. Primarily the capital was about TK. 12 lacs, and it had only one outlet in Rajshahi. Then gradually familiarity and business activity were expanded. Currently, Usha Silk is one of the market-leading companies in the Silk Industry and it has four outlets across the country.

সিল্কের কাপড় যেমন অনন্য, তেমনি এর বিশেষ যত্নেরও প্রয়োজন হয়। যত্নে রাখলে সিল্ক টেকে বহুদিন। সিল্কের পোশাকের যত্নে এই বিষয়গুলো মাথায় রাখুনl
-ড্রাইক্লিন করুন। পানিতে ধুলে ক্লোরিনের প্রভাবে রং ফ্যাকাশে হয়ে যাবে।
-বাসায় ধুতে হলে সাবানের পরিবর্তে শ্যাম্পু ব্যবহার করুন।
-কড়া রোদে শুকাবেন না।
-প্লাস্টিকের ব্যাগে সিল্কের পোশাক সংরক্ষণ করবেন না। পোশাকে ছত্রাকের আক্রমণ হতে পারে।
-ভারী কাজ করা সিল্কের শাড়ি হ্যাঙ্গারে না ঝুলিয়ে সোজা করে ভাঁজ করে রাখুন।
-সিল্কের কাপড়ে ন্যাপথলিন বল রাখবেন না, গন্ধ বসে যেতে পারে। লবঙ্গ ও দারুচিনি ব্যবহার করুন, পোকা আসবে না এবং দুর্গন্ধও হবে না।
-বছরে অন্তত দু বার সিল্কের পোশাক খোলা হাওয়ায় মেলে রাখুন।
