LOCAL PATTERNS by Тиха Форма

A limited collection of stoneware plates inspired by traditional graphic motifs from Hutsulshchyna, Ukraine.

Each plate is shaped and painted by hand, featuring a reinterpretation of traditional Ukrainian patterns.

The plates are made from clay remnants sourced from the Donetsk region of Ukraine, connecting the material to another part of the country.

With an irregular rim and a glossy glazed interior, each piece is designed for everyday use while preserving the natural character of the clay.

Slight variations may occur, making every plate unique.

Here’s how we spent our August✨

After reopening the store following our summer break, we brought in some new design touches and added artworks by talented Ukrainian artists to our walls — making the space even more inspiring for you to enjoy.

We also celebrated Ukrainian Flag Day and Independence Day with a special event. Thank you to everyone who joined us!

Triitsy — traditional Ukrainian candle holders, handmade from wood.

Three candles symbolize the Holy Trinity — the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Each piece is carved, turned, and hand-painted in vivid colours, in the distinctive style of naïve art.

These Triitsy are made by Ivan Vyshyvanyuk, a renowned master from Kolomyia, whose work is rooted in the traditional folk art of Hutsul and Pokuttya. His works have been exhibited in museums and are held in private collections around the world.

A traditional festive table piece, a work of folk art, and a unique expression of Ukrainian cultural heritage.
