A full house, good music, familiar faces and plenty of reasons to celebrate.

A big thank you to all the DJs, and to everyone who joined us and made the night what it was.

And most of all, thank you to everyone who has been part of Haven Surf over the past 10 years. Our incredible staff, friends, family, brands, artists, surfers, customers and everyone who has crossed our path along the way.

Join us for a screening of Bamb’Amaza and a presentation of Patagonia’s new neoprene-free Regulator wetsuits.

Bamb’Amaza follows Othandwayo, a 12-year-old girl from Imizamo Yethu in Hout Bay, South Africa. Through surfing, she discovers a deeper connection with the ocean—and finds confidence, perseverance and a sense of belonging along the way. A story about lessons from the water, and how they carry into life beyond the waves.

Produced by Eyeforce. Directed and filmed by Arthur Neumeier. Producer: Patricia Simon.

Also on the programme: the pre-launch of GLASS Vol. 2 with Lewis Arnold and Ronald de Leeuw, and Ondanova’s wooden surfboards. The Worn Wear Truck will be outside for repairs, and drinks are on the house.

Join Lewis Arnold and Ronald de Leeuw for a special pre-launch of GLASS Vol. 2—an independent, limited-edition book bringing together international surf photography, art and writing.
During a Q&A, they will discuss surf photography and journalism, the challenges of publishing an independent book, and shooting from the water when the waves get serious.
Also on the programme: Ondanova’s wooden surfboards, Patagonia’s new Yulex wetsuits and a surf film screening. The Worn Wear Truck will be outside for repairs, and drinks are on the house.

ONDANOVA AT 10 YEARS OF HAVEN SURF — PART ONE

Ondanova Surfboards will be part of the first evening celebrating 10 years of Haven Surf, taking place on Wednesday, 9 September.

Shaper Antoine Thys will present his handcrafted wooden surfboards, talk about the craftsmanship behind them and announce the next Ondanova workshop dates planned for later this year. Also joining us are Ronald de Leeuw and Lewis Arnold, who will present their new book, Glass Vol. 2. Patagonia will share more about its latest Yulex wetsuits and screen a surf film. The Patagonia Worn Wear Truck will be parked outside the store for repairs, and—as always—drinks are on the house.
