We’ve met the brothers behind Portuguese Flannel, António and Manuel Magalhães, more than 10 years ago at a trade show during Paris Fashion Week, the season before we opened Haven Surf. We immediately connected with both the product and the philosophy behind the brand: focusing on one thing and doing it exceptionally well. Timeless shirts, great fabrics, honest craftsmanship.

KUTT Magazine (The Book)
IDEA’s new book is out now. KUTT Magazine (The Book) is a complete facsimile reprint of the three legendary issues of KUTT, the cult q***r zine edited by between 2002 and 2003. Originally launched as the sister publication to BUTT Magazine, KUTT documented an emerging le***an and q***r scene through intimate photography, interviews, and raw independent publishing. Featuring work by Collier Schorr, Viviane Sassen, Ryan McGinley, and a cover appearance by Chloë Sevigny, this long out-of-print publication now returns in one beautifully reproduced volume.

HAVEN SURF x NOWADAYS MAGAZINE

Following the presentation of our 10 custom-made surfboards, we introduce the second collaboration celebrating our 10-year anniversary.
This time, we partnered with Nowadays Magazine, a platform that moves between clothing, a record label, and a magazine rooted in electronic music culture. The connection feels natural. Haven founder spent years as a resident DJ at the iconic Café d’Anvers and co-founded Café Capital.

Together, we created a T-shirt and a slipmat, both exclusively available at Haven Surf and at the Nowadays pop-up store, Schrijnwerkersstraat 7, Antwerp.

We celebrate this release with an apéro on Saturday 9 May at Haven Surf, from 18:00 to 20:00.

HAVEN SURF FILM FEST - THANKS

The fifth edition of the Haven Surf Film Fest is finished. It’s been a tough one after losing our presenting partner, but thanks to YOU, the people who bought tickets, and some of our partners who stepped in last minute to support us, we were able to make it a success again. Thanks to , , , and . We really appreciate it.

HAVEN SURF FILM FEST 2026 - GIVEAWAY

In 2026, Haven Surf marks its 10-year anniversary. Under HS10, a series of events and monthly collaborations with brands from our selection will unfold throughout the year. The starting point is the 5th edition of the Haven Surf Film Fest, where we introduce the first project:
10 SURFBOARDS FOR 10 YEARS OF HAVEN SURF

We invited 9 shapers to create a board that works both on their home break and in the North Sea. The result will be presented during the Film Fest, during a Q&A with Axel Lorentz, our central guest.

The 10th board will be shaped live during the event by Steve Grossen (Wabi Sabi) and Fré Valgaeren (Fiber Shape). At the end of the day, during the , this board will be given away to one visitor who purchased* a ticket.

We have 50 pre sale tickets left, so here’s your chance!
Only people who purchase(d) a ticket will be entering the competition. You may buy multiple tickets and invite friends to increase your chances.
