Only 5 lounges in stock for the whole summer???
We’d love to share one of the biggest brain-breakers since the beginning of Omarcity.
Stocking pieces or producing them only when ordered isn’t just a practical decision — it influences how we grow, how we plan, and how we honor the work behind every handmade design.
Together with you, we hope to grow in a more sustainable way — appreciating time, craftsmanship, and furniture that’s made thoughtfully, and made just for you.
So no high stock, only unique and handmade beauties!
Come and discover them in our showroom on appointment or every Sunday at our Open House!

This weekend is all about Home Encounters.

Not only are we opening the doors of our own home in Antwerp on Sunday, but today and tomorrow we are also welcomed into the beautiful home of in Ghent.

Two different houses, each filled with stories, passion, character, and warmth. Places where art, design, and everyday life come together in the most inspiring way.
Step inside, slow down, and allow yourself to discover new people, meaningful conversations, unique creations, and the stories behind them.

We look forward to welcoming you. PM for the location of our home away from home in Gent.

We do many things, but our Bar Omar Expos are where everything seems to come together.

This weekend, we saw a lot of faces: happy, curious, enthusiastic, insecure, proud, overwhelmed, surprised, admiring, loving, tipsy, and even emotional.

Our expos are a way for us to share what inspires us and what we love. We always hope that enthusiasm is contagious—that by sharing it, it grows.

But we also hope for something else: that Bar Omar can be a place where new encounters happen, where humanity is present in all its forms, and where everyone feels welcome.

The Smiley was the starting point for this expo. It’s also the expression we saw most this weekend, and the one we’re wearing ourselves today: the smile.

The exhibition remains on view until October (Open on Sundays or by appointment) Many of the works have already found new homes, but if one of the faces speaks to you, feel free to get in touch.

At Bar Omar, we show what moves us — what sparks, shifts, or opens new paths. Sometimes things don’t feel planned; they simply unfold. This exhibition grew exactly like that.

Eight years ago, a yellow smiley balloon announced Louisa’s birth. Since then, it keeps returning — a small sign that lingers.

A year ago, Ann created a small smiley tabouret. It was sold, yet never really gone — it instantly brought back a smile.

Because that’s what art should do.
It should move something.
A smile, a frown, curiosity, discomfort — something that makes your face respond.

Ann Rikkers didn’t plan ceramics; ceramics found her. What began by chance became her language: color, form, play. Her work is direct, energetic, fun and alive — an extension of her drawings, made tangible.

That’s the magic of Ann Rikkers. It makes you feel, it makes you “pull a face”.
