It’s been a busy few months in the workshop, bringing so many unique commissions to life! 🔨

From silver and gold, lots of textures and vibrant sapphires, emeralds, and opals, each piece has been a joy to create.

For Stefaan...

A rustic, hammered, hand-forged skull ring. Stefaan came into the store after seeing the first skull rings from this new collection, which I created for Mr. Kristof earlier this year. He caught me at the perfect time—right as I was working through the new collection for the store and preparing to start on a fresh set of skulls. I agreed to make an extra one in his size, so this is skull number 4 from the new collection. Skulls 1-3 are currently available in-store, but I’ll be posting them here this week.

Each piece is hand-forged from sterling silver and then oxidized to highlight the details and forms. Every skull is individual and unique—no two will ever be alike. I craft these completely by hand from solid metal, with no casting or wax models involved in the making process (nor in any pieces made for ). Every creation is a one-of-a-kind work of art.

Danelle & James…

Crafting a ring for someone about to ask one of the most important, nerve-wracking, and heart-pounding questions of their life is always a huge honor. But when it’s for a good friend, asking that same life-changing question to another good friend— the pressure is on, along with trying to keep it a secret 🤯

James poured so much thought into this for Danelle, carefully choosing the perfect opal and yellow gold to create something truly special. After a couple of late-night hours in the workshop, this beauty came to life—a stunning opal set in warm yellow gold.

They chose 18kt white gold highly polished with a flush set grey diamond and custom engraving inside.

For Karin and Bart :

I met these guys a few months ago in the store during their trip to brugge - we instantly hit it off. I was super happy when they wanted me to make a set of replacement wedding rings for them, particularly as they went for a style I am personally enjoying working and pushing forward at the moment.

Karin’s ring : Heavy weight, hand forged, molten formed sterling silver signet ring, roughly set garnet and 18kt gold fused details. Custom inside engraving

Bart’s ring : Heavy weight, heavy textured, hand formed sterling silver ring with deep fused 18kt gold details. Custom inside engraving

I am really enjoying making signet rings at the moment, so Karin asking me to add the 18kt gold fused details really hit with where I am pushing my collection at the moment.

Bart’s ring was also a dream to make - fusing 18kt gold, hammering and working up a heavy chunky ring.

Truly a pleasure to make this set for you both!

Sometimes simple, minimal and the shiniest of shiny is the way to go.

14kt yellow gold wedding ring set for Mark & Samantha.

I melted and reformed the gold from an old chain from Mark’s uncle. Creating a set of classic heavyweight D shape wedding bands in 3mm/6mm widths.

Super clean and polished finish for some timeless classic rings.

For Katrien : .bruges

Incredibly special and meaningful set of rings for Katrien.

Katrien asked if I could resize her husbands wedding ring who had passed away recently.

We also spoke of the idea of melting her wedding ring and his together to become one piece and something new.

I suggested I adjust her husbands ring so she could wear it and think a little more about melting the two together. I really wanted Katrien to consider the decision before doing something we couldn’t reverse.

She came back to collect the resized ring - we had a small piece of white gold left from the resize with the original hallmark and maker stamps left over. This was the only place to remove metal for the resize without cutting the original engravings inside the wedding band

Katrine had decided she wanted a second ring to wear alongside her husbands ring - she really liked the slim rectangular signets in the store. So I suggested we create a signet ring that can sit along side the original wedding band and show off the small hallmark section of gold as a feature on the head of the signet.

A very emotional time for Katrien, but we made great decisions together and created something she can honour and enjoy the memories of her late husband with.

I am truly honoured you put your trust in me to work on something with such importance to you. We had an emotional few moments talking about the rings - it really meant a lot to me and I enjoyed every part of the journey with these rings. Thank you!

For Bavo & Eline :

Really cute set of slim wedding rings for Bavo & Eline I recently finished up.

Bavo - Oxidised sterling silver with a small 18kt yellow gold fused/inlay. The gold used here came from the same gold to create Eline’s ring.

Eline - 18kt yellow gold and diamond. Eline inherited the diamond - so it was a nice touch to use the stone in her wedding ring. The band width was just over 2mm - so this is a really slim and minimal ring and setting.

Really eye catching set of rings that compliment each other well - even though they chose different metals and slimmer sizes for each ring.
