Laura Goffi and Elisabetta Sonzini have been transforming fine sheets of copper into remarkably delicate flowers for more than thirty years.

Each creation is entirely unique, drawn, cut, shaped, engraved and painted by hand in their Milan workshop (Photo 3). Their work draws as much on close observation of nature and historic botanical books as on a certain freedom of interpretation. Today, Carolina Mortara, Elisabetta Sonzini’s daughter, continues this story alongside them.
