A new project is on my hook…

Same KabAna stitch, but a completely different result.

This time I’m using , a soft, fluffy yarn that gives the stitch a completely different look and feel.

And yes, I’m back to my favourite 6 mm hook. Some things just feel right.

I’m experimenting with the shape and size of a new cowl for autumn, and I’m loving how this yarn transforms the texture.

Same stitch. Different yarn. Different story.

My favourite season is slowly creeping in… and I’m definitely not complaining.

It started with one little pumpkin and somehow turned into a whole pumpkin patch. All made with my KabAna stitch, in the colours that make autumn feel like autumn to me.

There’s just something about this season the colours, the textures, the change in the air… I love it all.
So yes, I’m officially ready for autumn.

OUT OF OFFICE

For the first time in 32 years, I’m back in Angola my home country and where my story began.

I’m taking some time to reconnect, be present and soak it all in. And of course, I’m hoping to find a little inspiration along the way for Tricotando, for new ideas, and for whatever comes next.

I’ll be back from 2 September, when I’ll catch up on emails and respond to your messages.

In the meantime, I’ll be sharing little moments from Angola in my Stories.

Same design, new yarn, different feeling entirely.

Lined with beautiful African fabric, because I love bringing together different textures and stories.
I'm also really enjoying this .

After a gentle fulling, it becomes incredibly soft, while the colourful flecks give it such a playful character.
I have a feeling I'll be using this yarn more often.

Irish tweed on the outside, African fabric on the inside. It's my favourite combination for now.
