Super excited to welcome Ethical Brand | Artisan Made into the Indikon store for a pop-up, starting October 1st🙌🏽

Founded by Sindhu and based in Amsterdam, Fifth Origins works directly with craft communities across India, designing pieces that carry real stories, real hands and real heritage!

To kick things off, we’re hosting a launch event with an evening dedicated to Kantha - a craft too often reduced to just a stitch. Join us as we trace it back to Bengal, talk through its history and the myths that surround it today. Think food, drinks, conversation and a first look at the collection 🤍🤍

This summer has been about long tables 🌿

Long meals that stretch into the evening. Conversations that go wherever they go. The kind of gatherings where no one quite remembers who suggested staying for one more glass 🍷

We loved that Indikon was part of so many of these tables this summer, in gardens, in courtyards, by the sea. A block-printed tablecloth doesn’t just dress a table. It starts a conversation. Someone always asks about the pattern. And then the story begins.

That’s exactly why we continue to do what we do 🫶🏽

I’m writing this from Greece, where the sea moves the same way it always has, and the patterns on ancient pots feel as alive as ever 🙌🏽

To me, Greece has always spoken in pattern 🏛️🏺

Walk through its ancient sites and you find it underfoot, peacocks by a fountain, flowers pressed into stone, waves repeating for thousands of years. Every mosaic is a room someone lived in, a floor countless people have crossed. This shared heritage is so humbling.

Every craft we carry at the Indikon shop was not invented by one single person but built over time, by an entire community. Refined by a grandmother, adjusted by her daughter, perfected by hers.

That continuity is what makes these crafts extraordinary. And worth carrying forward.
