Found this absolute gem at the op shop with drama for DAYS. Weird, still gives boss, but you know what it needed? A little punk edge.

So there I was, running around in my un**es and tights (overheating is real, mate), measuring spike studs onto the shoulder pads like some kind of hyper-focused gremlin. Sweaty hands, leather punch, screwdriver rescue mission—the whole chaotic journey.

Twenty minutes of pure upcycle chaos later? Comfy slob to punk boss transformation. And honestly, I'm so chuffed I finally got this six-month-old plan out of my head and into the real world.

Follow for more hilarious upcycles. 🖤

Corset Chaos: the toile (test corset) did not pass the vibe check at fitting. So we scrapped the plan, redrafted the pattern, and started again.

Changes: moved the zip from side → front for easier on/off, extended + reshaped panels, and refined the silhouette into a more classic line so it’s wearable for lots of occasions (not just “loud” moments).

You’re seeing the unglamorous magic: cutting on a bedsheet, mapping boning channels, setting eyelets, installing the zip, lacing it up… and then the new toile fitting like a dream.

And yep — a toile is the practice run. Now I build it again in the final fabric. That double-build, precision, and time is exactly why custom corsetry costs what it costs.

Meh to yeah. 💜

This dress technically fit my client, but together they just weren’t giving flair, drama, or epic presence. Nothing wrong with the dress, nothing wrong with her — it just needed a new job.

So we turned it into a winter layering duster: cut straight down centre front, overlocked + finished the new edges, and removed the sleeve elastic that was gripping her arms (then overlocked those hems too).

Now she can throw it over an outfit, belt it for shape, and get instant drama… and it still has pockets.

Luxury fabric, surprise hole. 😭

These men’s dress pants are merino wool + silk — absolutely stunning — but my client found an unexpected hole after purchase. So we did a proper internal repair: unpicked the placket/inside waistband for access, reinforced the damaged area with hand stitches, then harvested matching fabric from the inside leg hem (and patched that spot too). Finished with careful stitching + invisible hand sewing so everything sits flat and wears beautifully.

Visible-but-matching patch, mend fully covered, pants saved.

You know that feeling when you find a piece of clothing that just *fits*? That feels amazing on your skin? That works with your body instead of against it?

That's what we're here to create.

Whether you're dealing with fluctuating sizes, sensory sensitivities, or just want clothes that actually have functional pockets 😉 — we're here to solve it. Custom fits, thoughtful alterations, and sustainable fabrics that feel as good as they look.

Your body deserves clothing that celebrates it. Not fixes it. Celebrates it.

Ready to chat about your wardrobe? DM us or reply below. We're all ears.

Confession: I did roofing in my favourite jeans and absolutely wrecked the front with a ground-in rusty brown stain. Nothing would lift it… and I refused to let a perfect winter fit become “dirty job jeans” forever.

So I covered the stains with denim love-heart appliqués cut from salvaged denim (stabilised with interfacing), and stitched them on with a pop of purple thread. Now they’re one-of-a-kind and I’m obsessed.
Wear what you own, but make it cute. 💜

Courtney rocked up with a backpack full of “do I keep this?” clothes for a wardrobe refresh — and we were ruthless. Some pieces were clapped out and went straight to the rag pile (no guilt).

But this weird dress/tunic/top situation? On her 6’4 frame it didn’t know what it wanted to be… so we experimented. We cut up the side seams (tee fabric won’t fray), shortened the straps, and suddenly it’s a fun, secure, versatile piece she’ll actually wear.

If you’ve got a “maybe” item, bring it — we can make it make sense.

Op shop find for my 6’4 client: Calvin Klein animal print + black trim + that little gold zip moment.

She loved it… but the armholes were *tight*, and I could see her tugging it down for ease. So we reshaped the armholes: unpicked first to keep every bit of width, stabilised the new cut line with interfacing, then finished with black bias binding to match the centre trim.

Now it sits flat, she can move, and it looks like it was made for her. Because it’s not you that needs to change — it’s the clothes.

My client brought me a white denim jacket she loved for the colour and the pockets… but the batwing sleeves made it way too baggy through the body *and* too short in the arms. And she’s 6’4 — so if the proportions are off, they’re OFF.

We sketched, got creative, and turned it into a denim vest/singlet top that actually fits her and suits her life. I reused almost every part of the original jacket: sleeve fabric became length where we needed it, the bottom band became shoulder straps, and all the pockets stayed (because why would we ever give up pockets).

Then I added sensory-friendly side panels and a back inverted triangle using upcycled pink satin remnants + lace from my grandma’s stash. The pink triangle was used by the N***s to identify gay men in concentration camps during World War II, and it’s been reclaimed as a symbol of pride and resistance — so this detail carries history *and* meaning.

Now she’s got a versatile layering piece that fits properly, feels like her, and keeps a perfectly good garment out of landfill.
DM if you’ve got a “love it but never wear it” piece that needs a wardrobe rescue.

AI could never… make you feel this seen.

Could never celebrate you this hard.

Could never read your body + your life + your vibe and go, “yep — *this* is what you meant.”

That’s the magic of real humans, real fittings, real care, and clothes that actually work for you.

DM when you’re ready for a wardrobe rescue.
