Ooni created a children’s toy version of its well-known pizza oven.

The toy mirrors the real product, includes pizza-making accessories and even recreates the fire inside the oven. It allows children to participate in the same pizza-making experience as their parents.

Product: 8.8
Design: 8.5
Activation: 7.3
Final score: 8.2

At around $30, it is also an accessible product and a strong extension of the Ooni brand.

The main missed opportunity is activation. Family cooking content, children’s pizza challenges or holiday gifting could have taken the campaign much further.

Maker's Mark created a custom drinking glass featuring the same red wax dip that makes its bourbon bottles instantly recognizable.

The glass itself is a relatively straightforward product, but the iconic wax treatment makes the design feel distinctive and completely connected to the brand.

Product: 7.7
Design: 8.4
Activation: 7.3
Final score: 7.8

The campaign could have been strengthened through premium gifting packaging, bartender partnerships, bar activations or influencer seeding.

A very good product that deserved a bigger launch.

McDonald's says that 1 in 8 Americans has worked at the company at some point in their life.

To celebrate that enormous alumni community, the brand created a premium varsity-style jacket with leather sleeves, a wool body, embroidery and retro McDonald’s references.

The design feels much more like a genuine alumni jacket than a typical piece of corporate merchandise.

Product: 8.1
Design: 8.7
Activation: 7.6
Final score: 8.13

At $215, it is not inexpensive, but the price feels reasonable for a jacket of this quality and level of customization.

Would you wear one?

ASML selected a traditional Dutch stroopwafel as a large-volume event giveaway.

The product is culturally relevant, recognizable and easy to hand out. However, the packaging and branding could have been developed further to create a more premium and distinctive ASML experience.

People were already taking photographs of it, suggesting the core idea had real potential.

Final score: 7.5.

Make HQ created a branded version of the iconic Moccamaster coffee machine in its signature pink.

The product formed part of an internal loyalty program through which employees could collect points and exchange them for different rewards. Unsurprisingly, the coffee machine became one of the most popular products.

Final score: 8.2.

A strong reminder that useful merchandise, employee choice and a good reward mechanism can be more effective than simply distributing the same gift to everyone.

Armis Inc took an unexpectedly bold approach to cybersecurity merchandise with a bright purple winter sweater for its team.

The sweater was fully customized, reflected the company’s brand colours and included details such as custom labeling. It may not be designed for universal appeal, but it is highly relevant to the people inside the company.

The limited information about the broader activation resulted in a lower distribution score.

Final score: 7.8.
