What does the future of workwear look like? Today, we had the opportunity to show it. We welcomed Deputy Prime Minister Vincent Van Peteghem to our headquarters in Ronse for a look behind the scenes at alsico.
From our new laboratories, where we test and develop the next generation of workwear, to our arx garment collector, where end-of-life garments return to us to start their next chapter.

We also exchanged views on the challenges and opportunities facing our company and industry, and how we can keep investing, innovating and moving towards a more circular future for workwear.

A great team is built not only through collaboration at work, but also through shared experiences, laughter and a little friendly competition.

Last week, our day at De Ijsmolenhoeve gave us the perfect opportunity to step away from our usual routine, strengthen our team spirit and create some great memories together.

And this time, we stayed close to home and discovered that a great team experience can be found right in our own region. 🌿

How we are transforming our environmental footprint goes beyond reducing emissions. We are equally committed to safe and fair working conditions across our operations. Part I of this video series takes you inside our production sites, where this commitment is put into practice every day.

Today, 9 of our 15 production sites are OEKO-TEX® STeP certified, while 100% have a health and safety management system in place. It is one of the ways we are turning our ESG commitments into measurable progress, with continued focus on environmental performance, responsible production and the people behind our garments.

Workwear should not become waste when its first life ends. Through our arx initiative, we are investing in systems that support the return of garments at end-of-life. In 2025, we collected more than 104 tonnes of garments, helping transform discarded workwear into new raw materials.

This keeps valuable resources in motion as we work towards a more system and, ultimately, a truly closed textile loop where high-quality fibres can be used again and again.

In het kader van onze duurzaamheidsinitiatieven en toekomstplannen mochten we federaal minister van Mobiliteit, Klimaat en Ecologische Transitie, belast met Duurzame Ontwikkeling, Jean-Luc Crucke; lid van het Europees Parlement Saskia Bricmont; Directeur Général van IDETA Christophe Bonchoux; burgemeester van Stad Ronse, Ignace Michaux; en andere externe stakeholders verwelkomen bij Alsico Europe.

Daarbij stond centraal hoe innovatie, en verantwoord ondernemen de binnen de werkkledingsector kunnen versnellen.

Last weekend, our trail runners conquered the in Ronse, taking on a challenging course in the heat. 🏃‍♀️

Plenty of miles, climbs and smiles in the heart of the Flemish Ardennes.
