THIS IS GOODBYE.
Times have changed, and so has Majestik. What started as a project ‘for fun’ in our attic quickly turned into our very own pop-up store in the middle of our hometown. It still baffles us how Majestik has grown as a brand in our small but heartwarming community (Osschot wereldstad ❤).
Majestik has been the most wonderful time of our lives. We were able to live our dreams as entrepreneurs, and most importantly: We were fortunate enough to meet all of you. We still can't believe how much support we've received over the past few years.
Coming back to what we first said, times have changed. Jeroen has moved to Hasselt and is living together with his girlfriend and cute doggo Flynn. Jan has moved as well, and is living together with his girlfriend and cute kitten Jade. Rik is leaving Belgium in January to obtain his Master's degree in the UK.
The three of us have been thinking about this for a while and we have decided that this is it. We are not able to invest as much time and heart into Majestik as we should. We still have many ideas which we want to share with you all, but now is not the right time. The feeling is bittersweet but we rather quit now that we are in a good place.
Before ending this, there are a number of people we want to thank; too much to thank personally.
Thank you to every single model that took the time to put on a shirt and stand in front of a camera. Silke, Talia, Ward, Sam, Trix, Elisabeth, Amber, Milow, Janne, and all the others. MJSTK CREW represent!
Thank you to every photographer, designer or any other person who has helped us with the creative content of Majestik. You have brought our brand to life. Julie, Josephine, Frieder, and every other one of you. Thank you so much.
We personally wish to thank An from Per Tutti. Thanks to you, Majestik was able to become ten times as big as we’d ever expected. Opening our own clothing store was a dream come true. Thank you for your time and trust. We will never forget what you've done for us.
Last but definitely not least, thank YOU. Every single person who has ever invested time or money in Majestik, bought a shirt, liked a message or just walked into the store to have a little talk on a Saturday afternoon. All of you mean the world to us. We can’t put into words how much it means to us to see someone in a hoodie or tee whenever we go out. Thank you so so much, We will never forget any of you who made it possible for us to live our dream.
