Happy Mother's Day!

Today, we're celebrating the women who shape us: the mothers, the daughters, the grandmothers.

The hands that held ours first, and the ones we now hold in return.
To mark the occasion, we invited three families into our world. Grandmother, mother, daughter, each carrying a Mieke Dierckx bag of her own.

We asked them about their first bag, who started it all, and the trait that runs through their family like a quiet signature.

3 families, 3 generations, 3 different stories. 💛

Where bags meet art.

From 21-31 May, we're opening the doors to something
we've been quietly working on for a while.

Together with artist Emma Veulemans,
we're presenting Sac et Sol — an intimate exhibition where our bags step into the world of fine art.

At its heart: one unique artwork, created four-handed by Emma and Mieke, released in a strictly limited edition of seven. Each piece is numbered,
each piece is for sale, and once they're gone, they're gone.

Alongside the edition,
Emma presents her new oeuvre: 'Wat de muren zeggen.'

For now, we're only sharing fragments.
A brushstroke here. A texture there.

The full work stays under wraps until the vernissage.
