You've seen this outfit enough times, but regardless:

This one I based on the way AI generated images of clothing without understanding the core principles, which results in an uncanny facsimile. Also, M. C. Escher meets Salvador Dalí.

I'd like to revisit the concept this year, because I think I have a lot to give.

THANK YOU , Lora Babalievska for doing my makeup for this one. It's my favourite makeup look EVER.

Another favourite look of mine - the mannequin conferencier. I thought it would be fun to have a character with faces everywhere but where a face should be. I took a lot of inspiration from doll joints. I imagine she's build like a bjd doll, but the parts are fleshy.
Huge thank you to .cos who had to do the entire runway with a spandex mask over her head, while doing the creepy mannequin walk. She had the hardest role, and performed perfectly regardless.

One of my favourite looks. This one was based the fear of falling with my main inspiration being the unlikely combo of Van Gogh's "The Starry Night" and King Ramses from "Courage the Cowardly Dog". Huge thanks to .rolls.cos who absolutely sold the look by pretending to be perpetually blown by the wind, as well asndoing his own hair and makeup!

This design is about the self-imposed isolation we all encounter in the modern age. The Lonely doesn't dress up. She wears loose-fitting domestic clothes, covered by a shape-distorting raincoat that isn't really suited for rain. Her plastic gloves and rubber boots prevent her from experiencing the outside world. Despite its fragile appearance, the frozen headpiece is sharp, making it impossible for her to embrace another person.
Huge thanks to .cos who brought her to life by acting flawlessly, as well as doing her own hair and makeup for this. ❤️

Older work, but I never uploaded these. I wanted to make an earpiece and case holder, inspired by House Harkonnen in the cinema adaptations of "Dune".

This was the last look I did. I never thought of Death as an interesting fear. It's natural and simplistic. Therefore, I believe the costume speaks for itself. It's all about the cyclic nature of life and death. My reaper is a timeless being that plays with time and an ancient entity that's very human in appearance. Huge thanks to who, as always, absolutely killed it.

This is one of the looks I did for myself, purely for fun before the runway was even suggested. I've talked about this one before, so won't dig into it any further, as it's not that deep. I think it's the funniest outfit of the entire bunch. Huge thanks to who never misses to nail the assignment.

Back to the runway looks. This one is less whimsical. The topic was "senseless violence", and after going through different ideas like the Spanish Inquisition, I pivoted back to what disturbs me the most - war.

Unlike most of the other avatars, who look empowered in their costumes, this one is a victim. He wields weapons (spikes), but they pierce him first. He has a martyr's wreath, but the helmet doesn't protect him from bleeding or shock. His tie is a bomb, but the blades on the tail and the barbed wire hurt him back.

Violence begets violence. There is no winner.

Huge thanks to whose acting really sold the look.
