Aloha Lā Hui,

Due to the urgency of our community requiring healing, recovery and rebuilding - we’ve decided to cancel this year’s July 4th Da Hui Paddle Race. At this time, the mission and focus of the Hui O He’e Nalu is to mālama our family, friends and community who’ve lost so much due to last month’s floods and also respect to the pōhaku falling above Waimea Bay.

We’ll come back next year ready to le’ale’a.
