A FULL CANVASES COAT
(this "coat" means the class coat - coat itself, jackets, overcoats, topcoats, and waistcoats or vest)
Generally a client search a full canvases coat to be used on cold weather. Or where winds are so cold.
The techniques used to create full canvases NEVER IS touch into the books. Tailors say "It is our secret" "who wants to know must to pay our prices'.
But at book Mathews 10:8 says "what you got for free, you will give for free". And it is exactly what I am doing now. Even because was G'd ☝️ who touch this technique. A thing never thought by any tailor 😂.
So. A full canvases coat must to be so adjusted to client's necessities. The coat is only to a dry cold weather - without snow ? Or it is desired also to use under some snow layer ? If this last is situation, how much snow client think will be in contact ? Yeah! Because a fat snow layer means more water in contact to clothes 🤷.
So, considering my situation here. As I no have financial capacity to buy a mohair or a cashmere clothes (special good to these necessities), it is necessary to create a special canvases to minimize cold feeling. First a cut a horsehair canvas exactly full coat size - horizontally and vertically. I do same to felt (you can use a different cloth material - natural or artificial wool - I use here a artificial felt). This is to fix my body temperature. If I would use this coat unde snow weather I would put a synthetic cloth as microfiber between canvas and coat cloth. Or even put a plastic material to minimize water effect.
