WESTERN APPARELS (PTY) LTD IS A LEADING GARMENT MANUFACTURING COMPANY BASED IN GABORONE
WE ARE SEEKING A COMPETENT AND DETAIL ORIENTATED ACCOUNTANT TO JOIN OUR TEAM
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• PREPARE AND MAINTAIN ACCURATE FINANCIAL RECORDS AND REPORTS
• MANAGE ACCOUNTS PAYABLE AND RECEIVABLE
• PERFORM BANK RECONCILIATIONS
• PREPARE MONTHLY MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTS AND FINANCIAL STATEMENTS FOR THE GROUP COMPANIES
• SUPPORT MANAGEMENT WITH FINANCIAL INSIGHTS FOR DECISION-MAKING
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN ACCOUNTING, FINANCE, OR RELATED FIELD
• PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION (ACCA, CIMA, BICA OR EQUIVALENT) WILL BE AN ADDED ADVANTAGE
• MINIMUM 3-5 YEARS' EXPERIENCE IN AN ACCOUNTING ROLE (MANUFACTURING EXPERIENCE PREFERRED)
• STRONG KNOWLEDGE OF PASTEL ACCOUNTING SOFTWARE AND MICROSOFT OFFICE APPS
• HIGH LEVEL OF INTEGRITY, ACCURACY, AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL

Western Apparels is a local manufacturer of high-quality garments and a trusted distributor of industrial and domestic sewing machines. We are looking for a dynamic and driven Sales Representative to join our team and grow our customer base in both the garment and textile equipment sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market and sell Western Apparels’ clothing products to private, corporate and government clients.
- Market and sell sewing machines to individuals, SMEs, and large businesses.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships and provide after-sales support to new and existing customers.
- Identify new sales opportunities and develop tailored solutions for clients.
- Maintain accurate sales records, reports, and customer databases.
Requirements:
- Certificate or Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales, preferably in textiles, garments, or machinery.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Confident, organized, outgoing, and self-motivated.
- Knowledge of sewing machines and garment production is an added advantage.
- Valid driver’s license is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily financial operations and maintain accurate financial records
Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
Ensure compliance with statutory tax and regulatory requirements (e.g., VAT, PAYE, WHT)
Handle payroll processing and related reconciliations
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
Provide financial insights to support decision-making
Receive supplier invoices and manage stock inventory

Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience (preferably in manufacturing or related sectors)
