BACKGROUND
2003 Started my fashion design company on label SOUL CONNECTION
-Supply Afro chic designs to a local boutique FAYS s BOUTIQUE located in the main mall.
-Designed outfits for the Miss Botswana 2003 pageant, Miss Malaika advert aired on BTV and Miss BITF (Botswana International Trade Fair) fashion show and website launch.
-Awarded the BEST DESIGNER at the BITF 2004 “FASHION EXPERIENCE

”
-Represented my country by showcasing my designs for the DTC( DIAMOND TRADING COMPANY ) at the international diamond expo , participating designers from RUSSIA,SOUTH AFRICA ,NAMIBIA and CHINA.
-2005 Participated at the “EXPOSE” fashion show held at Maitisong.
-2006 Chosen from other designers to showcase my designs for the BOTSWANA WEEK IN JAPAN sponsored by DTC.
-Invited to showcase my designs in LONDON by the BOTSWANA HIGH COMMISSION TO LONDON for the Botswana 40TH Anniversary.
-2008 Moved to LONDON to expose myself to different fashion houses and also worked in the retail sector in London.
-2010 Moved back home re established my label now LADY GABANA FASHION STUDIO.
