Some people say, “Don’t get too close to your patients.”
But for us, eye care has never been just about prescriptions or scans.
Professionalism, to me, means taking the time to know the person behind the appointment. It means celebrating their milestones, asking about their children and grandchildren, remembering the stories they shared last year, and genuinely caring about what matters most to them.
We celebrate together when they achieve their goals, when their scans show good news, and when life brings joyful moments. And when the news isn’t what we hoped for, we sit with them in those moments too—sharing empathy, offering support, and sometimes even sharing tears.
Because caring for someone’s vision also means caring for the person.
This is the kind of community we’re honoured to build every single day. ❤️
