If you’ve been into the apothecary, you’ve probably seen NORA tea on our shelves and maybe wondered it would be used for - so here’s your answer!

NORA tea is a deeply nourishing herbal tea blend that has traditionally been used in traditional herbalism to support the body through conception, pregnancy and periods of life where extra nourishment and support are needed 💛

It’s important to note that NORA is not a fertility treatment, prenatal vitamin or replacement for anything. Think of it as food that brings extra support to the body! Pregnancy is also a very sensitive time that needs to be treated with immense care, so make sure to discuss NORA with your herbalist, midwife or other practitioner before using 💫

Let’s give these empty bottles a second life and take a look at how much it costs to refill your favourite home and body products! 💫💛

One of the biggest obstacles to getting started with refilling is the uncertainty about how much it’s going to cost, which we completely understand. Here’s a look at some of our most popular refill products from a variety of different categories with exactly how much it cost to refill !

Refilling works by bringing us your empty, or almost empty bottles and refilling them with items from our curation of natural, non-toxic and eco-friendly home and body products. We put your bottle on the scale, tare it, fill it, weight it and then charge by the weight of what went into the bottle! Because it’s charged by the weight, the exact amount will vary every time you fill depending on the exact amount that goes in, but these numbers here give you an estimate.

And yes, we refill any bottle or jar, you can put your shampoo into an old spaghetti sauce jar (as long as it’s clean) - we don’t judge! The most important thing is using what we already have and limiting the amount of waste we are creating 🌎🌱

SPEND THE DAY WITH ME AT OUR APOTHECARY 🌱💛

Any day that starts with the Abbotsford Farm & Country Market and a coffee is gonna be a good day! This is a pretty typical Saturday for me when I’m at the store - most of the day is devoted to helping all of you get your herbs, teas and refills which is one of my favourite parts of what we do, but there’s always a little time to sneak in a project or two as well 🥰

This particular day I tested a new recipe for a house made nut milk that we’ll be using in all of our fall and winter tea bar drinks (it turned out so good 👀). Then I moved our natural skincare section over to a new shelf and gave it a much needed refresh and reorganize!
