Belinda Dhubb, creator of D’ Hubb Designs, has been custom designing and creating bridal, evening, prom and classic wear for a select group of customers for more than 35 years. Her interest in fashion began at a very young age and she pursued her post secondary education at Kuala Lumpur’s Ngai Chun Sekolah Jahitan Fashion School. Shortly after migrating to Canada in 1988, Belinda began designing

and sewing for friends and family, as well as people from the community. Belinda’s thirst for fashion knowledge, creativity, and design led her to George Brown College, where she completed both the Fashion Techniques and Design Program in 2003 and the Fashion Management program in 2005. Throughout her tenure at the College, Belinda was recognized for her creativity and meticulous attention to detail, winning her the Fashion Techniques and Designs Award in 2003 and the Business and Creative Arts Award in 2004. After working with a number of fashion retailers, her desire to have her own business prompted her to make the necessary changes to enable her to better service her customers while designing and building her own fashion collection. Influenced by the many facets of culture, Belinda’s designs creatively fuses classical and modern elements, and feature exceptional craftsmanship with a strong eye for detail and silhouette. Belinda has also welcomed the influences of her favorite haute couture designers: Galliano, Armani, and Versace. From tailored suits and simple sheaths to sexy, seductive evening wear, her creations will make one feel unique and royal. Her unique, one of a kind creations begin with a private consultation during which time she helps her customers bring to life the visions of their dream dresses in beautiful sketches that will eventually become a beloved masterpiece.
