2025: A Year of Lessons, Love, and Creative Dreams 🤍
Looking back on this year, it’s easy to see the highlights, but it’s harder to show the work that went into them. Social media usually only catches the "out loud" wins. It doesn’t see the silent battles, the moments of overwhelming self-doubt, or the challenges life throws your way that make you feel like you aren't ending the year quite how you imagined.
But today, as I sit here reflecting, I realized that even when the wins felt "minor" amidst the struggle, they were actually beautiful milestones of resilience. Every project was a gift, and every person I met and worked with was a blessing. 💫
January: Finding my footing again through fresh, creative photoshoots.
February: A journey of the heart—supporting the launch of Isai in Mullaithivu.
March: Creative inspiration in Chennai and the surreal honor of designing outfits for the Junos.
April: A month of pure joy. I had the chance to work as a stylist for a fun music video with some truly special and extremely talented individuals—all while balancing e-shoots and play rehearsals. 🎶✨
May: Pouring my soul into the costume design for the play Takwahiminana. Seeing that vision come to life on stage was a moment I'll always carry.
June – August: A high-energy summer blur. To all the amazing clients I worked with: thank you for your trust and your energy. 🧵☀️
September: A dream I’m still processing—seeing my work as a Costume Designer premiere at TIFF.
October: Collaborative magic for our Halloween shoot with a team of gifted souls. 🎃
November: The wonderful opportunity to design a look for the Wicked premiere. 💚
December: Finally, leaning into the quiet. Much-needed rest, reflection, and holding my loved ones close. ❤️
To anyone else navigating their own quiet hurdles: your progress is real, and your wins are never minor. I’m walking into 2026 with a grateful heart and so much hope for the chapters yet to be written.
