You never think it will happen to you until it does.

Tomorrow we were supposed to be attending the sip n shop hosted by Cheers & Chill (I can't tag them) at the GL Heritage Brewing Company tagged in the post. Unfortunately Cheers & Chill has canceled the event, but that's not the worst part. The worst part is that they failed to notify both vendors and attendees, kept selling tickets, and failed to reply to any messages in regards to refunds for both tickets and vendor fees.

This is solely on Cheers and Chill. Instead of being responsible business owners, they have now stolen from numerous small businesses and attendees with no rectification in sight.

Please spread the word, and be aware. Anyone can be a victim. Maybe the more attention this gets, the better chance we all have at getting our money back.

I also want to say a big thank you to GL Heritage Brewing Company for trying their best to help out, support us, and trying to get our money back. They also graciously offered spots to everyone involved at their upcoming farmer's markets.

Let's hope for the best at this point, but it doesn't look like it's going to end up that way.

Well, I have most definitely fallen off the social media train lately with how busy life has been, but I'm still kicking! Between being a mother of 2 young boys, working full time, and attending markets, life seems to be blowing right by.

There's a few wonderful announcements I would love to make now that I've reemerged into the sun 😂
1) Ivy & Rose will next be at the Sip & Shop at GL Heritage Brew Company in Amherstburg on June 22nd from 5-10 and I can't wait to see everyone!
2) Ivy & Rose is officially launching our sun catchers! We have so many different designs and are currently only selling at markets, so come on by and grab one before they're gone!
3) We have hit 300 followers on Instagram and I couldn't be happier! I am so incredibly thankful to everyone who has supported me through this journey and to show my love I will be holding another giveaway once we hit 350, so invite your friends and win some free stuff!

Today I decided to be happy no matter what.

Being a mom, working full time, running my own business and managing my own health/mental health issues is one big juggling act that constantly has me feeling so so exhausted.

Finding time to truly allow myself to do things for myself that I enjoy is hard. But taking that time is so important.

Allowing myself to be happy even though there are so many things going on is important.

And finding the joy in all of the little things in life is important.

This is for everyone that is juggling all of their own parts of life. Allow yourself to take time for you, allow yourself to be happy, and try to find the joys in the little things.

And always, my door is always open to anyone who needs to talk ❤️
