The 2026 Pro Skateboard Demo was an incredible day, and none of it would have been possible without you.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to watch, cheer, take photos, skate, bring their families, and support skateboarding. Thank you to the spectators who filled the Antigonish Skatepark and made the atmosphere so amazing. Your energy, excitement and support meant everything.

Thank you to all of the volunteers who gave their time, energy and hard work to help make the event happen. From setting things up and keeping things running smoothly to helping wherever needed — we couldn't do this without you.

And thank you to everyone who travelled from Antigonish, across Nova Scotia, and beyond to be part of the day to see Santa Cruz Skateboards Team Riders Tom Asta & Maurio McCoy. Seeing so many people come together for skateboarding was pretty special.

The Pro Demo isn't just about bringing professional skateboarders to Antigonish. It's about showing what skateboarding can do for a community. It's about giving kids and young people someone to look up to, creating positive experiences, bringing people together and showing that skateboarding belongs here.

The Antigonish Skatepark exists because people believed that skateboarding deserved a place in our community. Events like this happen because people continue to believe in it.

🛹 THANK YOU, ANTIGONISH SKATEPARK! 🛹

A very big thank you to the Antigonish Skatepark for hosting the 2026 Pro Skateboard Demo, as well as the three Pro Demos that came before it. ❤️

The skatepark is so much more than a place to skateboard. It is a safe space for everyone. It is a family-friendly space, a welcoming space, and a place where people from all walks of life can come together, make friends, learn, grow, and be themselves.

Since opening, the Antigonish Skatepark has helped bring skateboarding to Antigonish and the surrounding communities and has given generations of skateboarders a place to call their own.

We've watched kids learn their first ollie, skaters push through frustration to land a trick, families come out to watch, and friendships grow around a shared love of skateboarding.

And then, every once in a while, Next Level Skateboard Shop will bring professional skateboarders like Tom Asta & Maurio McCoy from Santa Cruz Skateboards to this little park in Antigonish and show the community just how incredible skateboarding can be. 🤘

That is what community is all about.

Thank you to everyone who helped build, support, maintain, volunteer at, and simply show up for the Antigonish Skatepark over the years.
