Founded in 2015 by Michelle MacDonald and Brenda Smith-Chisholm, Trendy Shoes Ltd was created with a clear purpose: to bring high-quality, stylish, and comfortable footwear to Antigonish—backed by personalized, knowledgeable service. From the beginning, Michelle and Brenda set out to offer something different: a relaxed, local shoe shopping experience where customers could feel at ease, ask questi

ons, and walk away with shoes that truly fit their life and their needs. In 2020, Trendy Shoes moved into its current location on South River Road, taking over the former home of Trendys Clothing Ltd. The move offered more space to showcase an ever-growing selection of trusted footwear brands—while keeping the same personal, customer-first approach at the heart of everything they do. Today, Trendy Shoes proudly offers a thoughtfully curated mix of fashion and function, with brands like Rieker, Blundstone, Skechers, Birkenstock, Josef Seibel, and many more.
