Good Morning Everyone!

I trust everyone is having a fabulous Summer so far and have some exciting plans for the rest of the year!

I am bringing to you, a few of the plans for Country North over the next few days and month.

First and foremost is to let you know that this Wednesday, Canada Day, Country North will be closed. This means that the charity sewing held on this day will be canceled.

Someone reminded me the other day, that Christmas is only six months away.
I know that we don't want to think about that right now, but the thought of the coldness of the weather and all the snow, does help us to cool down.

Here at Country North we want to celebrate 'CHRISTMAS in JULY'!

That means that we will be continuing our 30th Year Celebrations by offering you 50% off all the Christmas Fabrics on the bolts.
The sale will run from July 2nd until July 24th!

Now is the time to get inspired, stock up and get a head start on your Christmas gifts!

Looking forward to meeting you once again and who knows there may be an extra surprise waiting just for you!

The store is open and although I had a fantastic family time, I must say it is good to be back.

The sale continues in honour of our 30 years of service to the community.
Starting today and ending on June 12 2026, we are offering you a discount on precuts and it will go as follows:

Fat Quarters - in bins and baskets are 30% off

Panels - 20% off

All other precuts - squares, strips and bundles - 10% off

It is an excellent chance to restock your stash and get ready to sew!!

Hello everyone!

I just wanted to let you know that the store will be closed until June 2nd.
My son is coming from Edmonton and we are going to celebrate my husband's 80th birthday.
We have not had a family gathering for over a year, and I must tell you that I am very excited.
The only sad part is that Little Aileen will not be coming this time, but she will be here in our hearts.

Take care and when I return there will be more sales to celebrate Country North's thirtieth birthday!!

Welcome to a brand new day full of adventure and challenges!

We live in very busy world with appointments, meetings and deadlines.
Quilting, including all the steps that it takes to arrive at the stage of calling our project a quilt, are great therapy for many, including myself.
It is not just the sewing, it is the companionship of all our sewing friends.
It is the laughter and the sharing of stories as we built memories that will last forever!
It is the fact that we are in control and can set our own time lines.
It is the joy we feel when we can share our finished quilt!

Thank you for all the lovely congratulation comments that are pouring in, I so appreciate everyone of them!

I have enjoyed serving the public for these past 30 years and wish that I could so for another 30 but we all know the chance of that happening is slim. But I have set my goal for at least another 10 years, looking ahead gives me hope and joy to keep going!

In honour of these past 30 precious years, I would like to celebrate with you!
I am going to have different sale events and prizes, as well as introducing some of the specials that I had before, like 'Wacky Wednesday' and 'Bolt of the Day' and some new ones that I would like to offer!
I will be starting classes for quilting, sewing, knitting and crocheting.

Yes, I do have a fair amount of fabric that falls within this range and who knows there may be new ones added each week!
