Happy International Women's Day from the team at Patagonia Banff 🌍 ✨
Every day, not just today, we’re celebrating the women who show up in the outdoors, learning new skills, taking falls, getting back up, and empowering each other along the way. This year’s International Women’s Day theme, “Give to Gain,” is about sharing skills, and using our time and experience so more women can feel strong and safe in the mountains.
Meet one of our brand ambassadors, Gabi. She grew up chasing turns at Sun Peaks, BC, clicked into skis at two, and never really stopped. She moved to Banff for school, shifting from ski racing into freestyle and now starting to explore the backcountry around Lake Louise. One of her proudest moments so far was representing Canada at the Youth Olympics in Korea, landing her tricks and skiing her best on a brand-new stage. She gives to gain by coaching the next generation, sharing her skills, confidence, and hard-earned knowledge with the kids on her team, and inspiring other women by leading by example every time she clips into her skis.
