Whether you need help understanding the next step, figuring out what a pattern is asking you to do, or simply want the confidence of knowing someone is nearby to answer questions, this sewday is designed to help you keep moving forward.

Ready to try something new or take your foundation paper piecing skills to the next level?

We are welcoming Maureen Wood back to Homestead Fabric & Quilting this June for two hands-on classes, with an option for different experience levels.

The Enchanted Forest Table Set is a great choice for a confident beginner. The tree blocks can be customized with as many or as few fabrics as you would like, making it a fun way to learn the technique without feeling overwhelmed. We made this Christmas version using a simplified fabric selection to show how easily you can make the project your own.

For quilters ready for more of a challenge, the Mini Rose by Legit Kits is a beautiful opportunity to build on your foundation paper piecing skills and work on precision with smaller pieces and detailed sections.

Maureen is an incredibly patient and encouraging teacher. She takes the time to explain each step clearly, answer questions, and work alongside you when you need a little extra guidance. Whether you feel confident jumping in or would appreciate help throughout the day, Maureen will meet you where you are and help you enjoy the process.

Summer classes are here!

We have a fun lineup of Sewdays, Get Er Done Days, Pattern Confidence Sewdays, Foundation Paper Piecing classes, and even a Young Quilters Summer Camp planned for Summer 2026!

Whether you’re looking for a relaxing day to sew with friends, some extra help reading patterns, a chance to finally finish those projects, or a class to try something new, we would love to have you join us in the classroom.

Our summer class list is now available, and spots will be limited for some classes, so be sure to check your calendar and sign up early!

We are getting so excited to welcome Maureen Wood back to Homestead Fabric & Quilting this June for two beautiful foundation paper piecing classes!

Maureen will be teaching both the Mini Rose by Legit Kits and the Enchanted Forest Table Set by Jacqueline de Jonge BeColourful. These classes are a wonderful opportunity to build confidence with foundation paper piecing, sharpen your precision, and create something truly stunning.

We also have patterns and kits available for purchase at the store, so you can stop in ahead of time to get set up and choose the project that inspires you most.

Enchanted Forest Table Set: June 19 & 20

Need a little dedicated sewing time? Come join us for Get Er Done Days at Homestead Fabric & Quilting!

May 21–23 Thursday–Saturday 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. $10 per day

Bring your machine, your current WIP (work in progress), your lunch, and your supplies, and enjoy a few relaxing days of sewing, visiting, and getting those projects finished up alongside other like-minded quilters.

Come for one day or all three — we’d love to have you!

Young Quilters Summer Camp is back!

We’re so excited to welcome young creators into the classroom this August for three fun-filled afternoons of sewing, creativity, and confidence-building!

August 11, 12 & 13
1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Ages 8 & up
$125

Kids will enjoy a relaxed, encouraging environment where they’ll learn new skills, make friends, and take home TWO finished projects by the end of camp! Snacks and fabric are all included—just bring your creativity
