New fall 🍂🍁 collection is out and so very sweet. Right around the corner will be the holiday collection and this is the time of year I like to start to remind everyone that if there’s a special Jellycat you’d like to have Christmas, don’t wait too long!! There is still production shortages and stock WILL be limited this season. Back to school shopping in full swing! LOTS of amazing choices in store for back packs, lunch bags and bento boxes. We also received a new Headster hat shipment this week we some great new prints for fall AND our Summer Clearance Sale includes some Headster hats, Herschel, BelanJ and more!!

Do you let “I’m too busy” be part of who you are? If you pause long enough, you’ll likely learn why.

Women who define themselves as always being “too busy” for things that truly matter to them are generally hiding behind this protective measure their brain has put in place because slowing down feels uncomfortable. So uncomfortable, you avoid it at all costs.

It’s not your fault. Your brain is doing exactly what it was designed to do. Keep you feeling safe and comfortable. Even if the patterns you’re running in the background don’t serve you.

Taking time off for summer as a business owner is HARD. Almost impossible. And so very uncomfortable. And I resisted taking ANY time off for more than a decade.

It didn’t serve me well and wreaked havoc on my health, my nervous system and my family.

Now I prioritize my rest. I’ve learn how to restore. I focus DAILY on the things that matter most.

And this makes a world of difference for my health, my family, AND my work.

Where are you resisting making a change? Are you slowing down long enough to hear what your mind and body need?

This week try to catch yourself when you say “I’m too busy for that” and ask yourself, “is it possible to FIND a small pocket of time, or free up 10 minutes for that?”. Becoming aware of when you flash the “I’m too busy” badge is the first step.

GoGreen Bento boxes restocked so we have an AMAZING selection when we open after our summer break on August 4th. This set (box, insulated bag, ice pack and water bottle) is a popular system for SO many reasons! Stop into the store if you’re thinking about it for Kindergarten (you’ll want some practice time this summer!) or for big kids there will be LOTS to choose from in August. This is it folks! Last day open until August is Saturday July 4th. I will be in and out of the shop a bit during July doing some cleaning, inventory and general maintenance, so feel free to message me on IG if there’s a dire need for something and I’ll let you know when to pop by. Buuuuut let’s assume there will be a delay in all messages, emails and voicemail because this is supposed to be me on vacation mmmmk? 🤪

You’ll also find me on my paddle board, beach hopping, spending a few nights camping here and there, and hopefully reading a few new books I’ve had on my reading list for some time now. Basically I’ll be at the lake, so my phone won’t be, and it may be a bit quiet around here. 🛶🏕️🏖️

I so appreciate your patience, support and understanding. As a business owner doing something I LOVE, taking time off is never easy, but I’ve always said we have the absolute BEST customers and I’m so grateful to serve you all here in Simcoe County.

Have an amazing summer, take time for YOURSELF, and enjoy this beautiful area we’re so lucky to call home. We’ll see you in August! ❤️
