Calling all emerging artists in Guelph! Applications are now open for the 2026 Guelph Studio Tour Emerging Artist Program — with a NEW application deadline of June 16!

The 2026 Jury Committee is excited to welcome applications from artists in the early stages of their creative careers to participate in the Guelph Studio Tour happening:

📅 Saturday, October 17 & Sunday, October 18, 2026

Through partnerships with local galleries in Guelph, selected artists will have the opportunity to exhibit their work during the tour weekend in a supportive and professional gallery setting. This program is designed to help artists gain exhibition experience, build connections within the arts community, and explore mentorship opportunities.

✨ Emerging artists may participate in the program for up to two years and are encouraged to apply as full tour members in the future.

Eligibility Requirements:
• Practicing under 5 years
• Must be local to Guelph
• Must not currently operate a permanent studio on the tour
• Work must be original, handmade, or artist-designed (no mass production or AI-generated work)
• Must attend the tour weekend in person at the selected gallery location

Participation Requirements:
• Annual participation fee: $150
• Ability to participate in group shows or events leading up to the tour
• Submitted work must reflect the final work exhibited during the tour

The Jury Committee will be looking for quality, consistency, and professionalism in your work. Applying indicates that you have read and understood the program requirements.

Our first show of the year is next weekend🌺 We will be at the Wentworth Medieval Faire May 23- 24, Ancaster Fairgrounds. We will have lots of flowing dresses to please fair maidens and wenches alike!
