On this my last official day at Deja Vu I would like to take a moment to let you know how much each of you who consigned, visited, inquired online or called during my tenure at the store meant to me! When Micheline offered me the opportunity to Manage the store I was excited to say the least. What I did not know then was that this would not be the typical retail environment. I have been blessed to meet so many incredible people, many of whom I now consider friends.
Our consignors were gifts everyday! You shared your treasures, their stories and your lives with me and I will never forget those gifts! You are so incredible!!
The items consigned presented me with an opportunity to learn so much about so many unique and wonderful things and challenged me to care for them and display them so others could see them in their future. Being able to share stories with our clients and help them understand the history of items they were interested in was invaluable. The clients I was privileged to serve made an impact on me daily - I was even was blessed to be part of a proposal - right in the store! (she said yes)
To Micheline I can only say THANK YOU.... thank you for the opportunity, for your belief in me, for your support and most of all for your friendship. These have been the best years! Not one day, in all this time, did I not want to come to work - I wish that for everyone. ❤ Terri
