Every month we are going to pick a charity and a pattern to match in which all proceeds will be donated to that foundation! As February is Black History Month we have decided to donate to the Freedom School Toronto!

FreedomSchool is a three-week program designed to combat the lack of dedicated educational opportunities for q***r positive Black children, between the ages of four and twelve, in the Greater Toronto Area. They provide educational awareness to children in regard to Black Canadian and diasporic history that is often not taught through formal education. Through child-friendly resources like claymation and video animation, the children in this program are engaged in political resistance to anti-Black racism through a trans-feminist point of view. Additionally, FreedomSchool also participates in campaigns to create systemic change and engages Black youths in various ways including training programs, student conferences and even a Saturday school program as well.
