This has been a difficult year so far in 2026. At Christmas I was diagnosed with cancer that was behind my retinas. I went through radiation immediately to save my eye sight. After radiation they scanned my body and it lit up like a Christmas tree. For the last 8 years I have been told I was cancer free and released from the cancer program. Well as it turns out I was never cancer free. If you are diagnosed with breast cancer they only ever do mammograms not body scans. Well the cancer cell’s travelled to my eyes, lung, liver, back and leg bones and it is now stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. For woman this is a number one killer but our medical system won’t give a scan to see if it has spread.
I have made the decision to close The Fab Attic. All my prom and bridal party (MOB, MOG etc) dresses were kindly taken in by Kim at Deja Vu in Belleville.
So if you are looking for a knock out gown or grad dress there are over 300 dresses there. No appointment necessary.
I thank all my supporters over the last few years who have been loyal clients.
I am now fighting the battle of my life. It is an incurable cancer but I am going to give it my all.
