These are made and ready for immediate sale! $40 each, with one removable faux fur pom pom. Additional pom poms can be purchased with a hat for $5/pom pom.

Merino wool is antibacterial, and so warm and soft. These hats of made from extremely high quality (and machine washable!) merino wool.

Another snowflake matching merino wool hat set- this time husband/wife ❤️

So I’ve just been working on custom orders the last few weeks... and the burgundy snowflakes matching Mommy and Me set turned out better than I could have hoped. Just so stinkin cute and my favourite colour 😍

I was also asked to make matching mittens for my thick merino hats. What a fun challenge!! I surprised myself by how easy it was for me to whip up a set without a written pattern (it did take a few attempts) ... but I’m super proud of this accomplishment as it means I’m progressing as a knitter.... and I think my Nana would have been proud ❤️❤️❤️

Note: the thumb on 1 mitt isn’t done 😂 but this project is on hold until I complete another order. I can’t wait to make more!

Time for a change of season, when the beautiful backdrop of golds, reds, and vibrant colours outside is being replaced with leafless shivering trees, crisp mornings, hot mugs... and toque weather!! And the hat orders have begun rolling in!! 😃😃😃

The above picture is an order I completed in the super soft thinner merino wool... the heather tones of this yarn makes it so eye catching and rich.

Below are some hats made from the same merino wool in navy, burgundy, and fuscia (the sun makes them look purple and red, but they are deeper colours than that) I love making braided patterns, they’re just so fluffy looking!! 😊 These 3 hats are ready to go and are for sale

Ps. I gave away my mannequin heads before our move so I don’t have a better way to display my hats at the moment... 😆

I am so excited to share that Cedar Hill Christmas Tree Farm in Pakenham, Ontario is now selling my 100% merino wool toques at their tree farm!! Check out their online store or visit in person, it’s a great country location and there are tons of activities for the whole family. And, of course, check out my hats, Handknit by Lisa M.... very honoured that they have chosen to display my hats in their store 😄😄😄

Handknit by Lisa M. is moving locations permanently to Canada’s beautiful east coast for some adventures at the end of the summer!!

During the lockdown, I dove into my knitting in my spare time. I love the jewelled tones of this merino wool! It’s so elegant ❤️

These hats are more beanie style. They are lightweight, but warm and soft. Each style comes with your choice of Pom Pom for $40. Best of all, this is a superwash wool, so they are machine washable and dryable! I also have some left in the off white, so check out my previous post with these hats.

They come in 2 sizes: medium/large and small/medium

I really liked this yarn! ☺️

Here are some more super warm, ultra soft merino wool hats of my own design, and their handmade, removable Pom Poms (also made by myself). Each hat is unique!! 😊

Again, the benefits of merino wool are that it is super warm, soft (of course) and not scratchy, antibacterial, and it wicks moisture away from the skin and so remains warm even when wet!!

All hats you see are $40, and that includes a Pom Pom of your choice. Additional Pom Poms may be bought to switch up the look, or match another coat, for an additional $5 per Pom Pom, with the purchase of a hat.

Alrighty, here we go again!! More hats!!

Last year I stumbled across this particular yarn: a super bulky, luxurious merino wool, and the colours were perfect for fair isle colour work. Of course, I saw endless possibility, and here are some of the results. Each pattern was designed by myself and each hat is unique (although they may be duplicated to match another). Again, the benefits of merino wool, aside from its ridiculous softness and warmth, are that is wicks moisture away from your skin to keep you even warmer, it remains warm even when it gets wet, and it’s not scratchy! Best of all, this merino is superwash, so it’s machine washable!

Each hat is reduced to $40, and that includes 1 faux fur Pom Pom of your choice: black faux wolf, reddish/tan faux fox, white faux fox, white with black tips faux fox, and grey faux chinchilla (not pictured). Additional Pom Poms can be purchased for an additional $5 each with the purchase of a hat! 😊
