My favorite event of the year is just around the corner!!!

You can find me at The Curio Collective Fall Vintage Show happening October 3-4th in downtown Halifax! Join me as one of 45 vintage and antiques sellers with the BEST of our collections for Fall!

Come shop with us on Saturday, July 25 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the ICAA on Agricola Street. I'll be bringing a curated collection of vintage finds, and I can't wait to see everyone there!!!

Today I had the privilege of honouring my late grandparents, Marilyn & Ian, by showcasing some of their folk art pieces at the Show & Tell event.

It was such a joy to hear stories about them from friends in the folk art community and to see how deeply they touched the lives of those around them.

It was a special day that filled my heart. I know my grandparents, my aunt, and my dad would have been so happy to see me carrying on a connection to something that meant so much to all of us.

Their love & dedication to folk art helped shape who I am, and I feel incredibly grateful to be able to honour their legacy in this way. ❤️

all of my love of vintage came from my dad. he propped me up in frenchy's bins as a baby, and dragged me into vintage stores as a young girl. Not only that, but he was one of the first people ever to setup an eBay account. He was a scavenger for all things, but my favorite of his finds were 2 authentic hermes scarves from Berwick frenchy's, and multiple pairs of designer sunglasses from the old greenwood location. As a kid, he let me try them on, but as much as I wanted to add them to my collection he'd say absolutely not...rightly so! 

My dad was very excited for my first large show this past weekend. He checked in with me daily for months on how it was going and asking what he could do to help. He loved vending at my first small market in Berwick, and was so excited to see how it would turn out at the arena in Kentville. Although we didn't get to spend this weekend slinging vintage together and having some laughs, I know he would be so proud of me. We did it. The show was a huge success, I saw it through like he would've wanted, and I was able to be there to say a very unexpected goodbye to my dad which I'm so thankful for.
